WHAT WE DO
4CORE assists with two energy-efficiency programs geared toward helping businesses and homeowners improve their homes to save energy and money. These programs are:
Colorado’s Affordable Residential Energy (CARE) Program for income-qualified households (Homeowners and Renters).
Energy Smart Colorado for businesses and households of any income level.
Colorado’S Affordable Residential Energy Program (CARE)
At 4CORE, we’re dedicated to making homes energy-efficient and reducing utility costs for families. The Colorado Affordable Residential Energy (CARE) Program offers FREE energy efficiency services, thanks to funding from Energy Outreach Colorado, utility rebates, and local resources.
What to Expect:
No Cost: Free energy-efficient products and services.
Expert Assessment: A CARE energy adviser will assess your home and recommend cost-effective improvements.
Professional Installation: Local contractors will implement efficiency upgrades, such as air sealing, insulation, and EnergyStar™ appliances.
Follow-Up: Ensuring all improvements meet the highest standards.
Income Qualifications:
Participants must earn at or below 80% of their county's area median income (AMI).
Potential Upgrades Include:
Air sealing and duct sealing
Attic, floor, and crawlspace insulation
Efficient showerheads/aerators
EnergyStar™ refrigerator
High-efficiency furnace
LEDs, pipe insulation, programmable thermostat, storm windows

Energy Smart Colorado at 4CORE
Transform your home or business with 4CORE's Energy Smart Colorado program, designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.
We offer comprehensive home energy assessments to identify improvements like air sealing, insulation, efficient appliances, and more. Our program connects you with local contractors and provides access to rebates and financing options, making it easy and affordable to upgrade your energy systems.

Take the First Step Toward Energy Savings with Energy Smart Colorado
Start your journey to energy efficiency with 4CORE’s Energy Smart Colorado program. Here’s how it works:
1) Get a Home or Business Energy Assessment
Our BPI Certified Energy Analyst will assess your home or business to identify energy-saving opportunities. This assessment includes:
A blower test and infrared photo analysis to analyze leakage in the home.
Combustion safety analysis- boiler or furnace check to assess the risk of carbon monoxide.
Gas line leak detection- gas line check for leaks inside and outside of the home.
2) Get a Complete Energy Report
Your analyst will provide a comprehensive report outlining the energy efficiency upgrades that would be most beneficial to your home. The report includes detailed photos of the areas discussed and specific recommendations for upgrades in order of importance/priority.
3) Apply for Rebates or Financing
Our energy analysts help you secure rebates and financing and track your savings. The Home Energy Assessment is typically valued at $500, but is subsidized by 4CORE and our utility partners, bringing the cost down to $100-$200.
