CURRENT EV INCENTIVES

Colorado State EV Tax Incentive
The Colorado EV tax credit is valued at $5,000 when you purchase or lease a new EV with an MSRP of up to $80,000. EVs with an MSRP under $35,000 are eligible for an additional tax credit of $2,500.

Depending on the EV, Coloradans could be eligible for even more tax credits, including the $7,500 federal EV tax credit for fully electric vehicles.

Vehicle Exchange Colorado (VXC) Program
Helps income-qualified Coloradans replace old, high-emitting vehicles with electric vehicles (EVs), offering a $6,000 rebate for new BEVs or PHEVs and $4,000 for used BEVs or PHEVs.

The federal government offers a tax credit of 30% off the purchase and installation of at-home Level 2 charging, up to $1,000.

Offers tax incentives for individuals and businesses purchasing or leasing medium- and heavy-duty trucks that use clean energy technologies, such as electric or hydrogen fuel cells. Eligible parties can claim credits of up to $30,000 per vehicle, depending on the truck's weight and energy type, helping reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
