Colorado’s Affordable Residential Energy (CARE) Program

CARE leverages Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) funding, utility rebates, and local resources to provide FREE energy efficiency services to participants.

What accepted program participants can expect

There is no cost to participants. An authorized and experienced CARE energy adviser will visit the home to install free energy efficient products, assess the property for major efficiency opportunities, and educate the client on their energy usage. Once the adviser has completed their assessment, they will coordinate with local contractors to install the most cost-effective efficiency measures in the home. After installation, participants may be contacted by an EOC or CARE inspector to ensure all improvements were installed correctly.

Income qualifications

Qualifying participant(s) income must be at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI) in their respective county. 4CORE will provide you with income verification. For more info, here’s the program flyer.
